During the Vrischikam-Dhanu Mandala pilgrimage season, the temple shines with thousands of oil lamps (Chuttuvilakku), devotional singing, and daily Annadanam for Sabarimala pilgrims and local devotees. Special celebrations are also observed on Durgashtami, Mahanavami, Vijayadashami Vidyarambham, and Thrikkarthika.
