Ceremonial Significance & Traditions
On the ninth night of the festival, Lord Ganesha is taken out in a solemn, grand procession for Pallivetta (the sacred royal hunt). The ceremony symbolizes the divine triumph over evil and the dispelling of demonic forces. After the silent return of the deity, the Lord rests in serenity before the triumphant Arattu festival the following day.
